      Class B CDL- Home Daily 1st Shift 5:00am- 3:00pm Days off: Saturday and Sunday      Job Description:     - Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous and accurate manner. - Ensure that all accounts are maintained according to the published schematics. - Load or unload cases of product manually with hook, handcart or pallet-jack onto and off the truck. Ensure load is properly secured.  Collect empty cases. - Stock and/or rotate product on shelves or in cold room. - Maintain a valid Class B CDL and current DOT medical card.  Per Company and/or DOT regulations, report any moving violations to management immediately. - Checks load security prior to travel and at each stop, making adjustments when needed. - Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. - Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. - Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. - Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.  Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. - Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED preferred - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. - Must be able to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend required for virtually the entire shift. Balance - pulling product, climb in and out of truck. Ability to lift and/or move up to six cases on hand truck. (cases weigh 20 to 55 lbs.). - Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors. Ensure load is properly secured.  Collect empty cases. - Resolve customer complaints. - Stock and/or rotate product on shelves or in cold room. - Reset product displays. - Must maintain idle time to company standards - Must be able to complete assigned route within DOT time regulations. - Required to either transport product across state lines, or if delivering intrastate, to haul some products that originate in other states. - Implement and maintain plan o gram integrity and Point of sale material where needed. - Maintain a valid Class A CDL (based on established route) and current DOT medical card.  Per Company and/or DOT regulations, report any moving violations to management immediately. - Checks load security prior to travel and at each stop, making adjustments when needed. - Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. - Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports. - Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. - Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. - Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. - Follow all required work safe practices. SUMMARY To learn Sales techniques over established route to deliver and sell products or render service, collects money from customer, and makes change by performing the following duties.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All matters listed herein are considered to be essential job functions.  There may be other job functions, which are essential, but are not listed below.  Also, Land-O-Sun Dairies, L.L.C.  may revise this description at any time deemed necessary.   Ability to calculate customer order, maintain proper billing and keep all paper work updated.   Rides with Route Driver to learn to deliver milk and/or ice cream to places of business.   Learns how to collect money from customers, make's change, and records sales.   Learn the ability to complete all required paper work on the computer system.   Learn to record sales or delivery's information on daily sales or delivery record.   Learns how to inform regular customers of new products or service.   Learns how to listen to and resolves service complaints.  Place's stock on shelves or racks.   Learn to collects or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.  Loads truck   Learns how to obtain customer signature on receipt for product picked-up or delivered.   Learn how to complete all necessary paper work required by company policies or governmental regulations.   Learn how to properly load and inventory delivery truck.   Perform any other assigned tasks.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES this job has no supervisory responsibilities.   QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
