ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All matters listed herein are considered to be essential job functions.  There may be other job functions, which are essential, but are not listed below.     Ability to calculate customer order, maintain proper billing and keep all paper work updated.   Rides with Route Driver to learn to deliver milk and/or ice cream to places of business.   Learns how to collect money from customers, make's change, and records sales.   Learn the ability to complete all required paper work on the computer system.   Learn to record sales or delivery's information on daily sales or delivery record.   Learns how to inform regular customers of new products or service.   Learns how to listen to and resolves service complaints.  Place's stock on shelves or racks.   Learn to collects or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.  Loads truck   Learns how to obtain customer signature on receipt for product picked-up or delivered.   Learn how to complete all necessary paper work required by company policies or governmental regulations.   Learn how to properly load and inventory delivery truck.   Perform any other assigned tasks.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES this job has no supervisory responsibilities.   QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Driver Helper/ 2nd Shift 12pm to 8pm Days off: Saturday and Sunday Job Description: The Loader is responsible for performing a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.  Performs any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product.   - Responsible for frequently pulling and stacking product based on daily orders. Meeting specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. - Responsible for operating various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks). - Responsible for keeping products separated, organized and in good rotation. - Monitor product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues. - Report any mechanical problems such as bad wearstrips, plugged or missing lube nozzles, spacer stop malfunctions, palletizer malfunctions or conveyor breakdowns. - Responsible for frequently documenting and reporting; Completing production and quality logs. Furnish accurate counts on load tags - Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. - Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. - Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. - Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. - Perform other duties as assigned.   Job Requirements:   - High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. - Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred. - Must be able to able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, push or pull for virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high. - Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.    Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays. - Be able to effectively work in a team environment. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).

Ensure load is properly secured.  Collect empty cases. - Stock and/or rotate product on shelves or in cold room. - Maintain a valid Class B CDL and current DOT medical card.  Per Company and/or DOT regulations, report any moving violations to management immediately. - Checks load security prior to travel and at each stop, making adjustments when needed. - Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. - Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. - Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. - Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.  Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. - Perform other duties as assigned. Temperature range from 34-120 degrees F.  - Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Must possess and maintain a Class B CDL. - Must have a clean driving record. - Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks)
