  • This entry level position staffs and supports the cafeteria break room operation on 1st shift Monday – Friday at the Friendly's Wilbraham corporate office, ensuring that items are ordered, prepared and break room is in order.

    • Responsible for monitoring and replenishment of all cafeteria food items and supplies.
    • Monitors inventory levels in vending machines and cafeteria food items
    • Complete end of day balancing report for all money and item inventory
    • Cash handling for all transactions
    • Excellent customer service given to all employees
    • Ability to manage and monitor the register, close out the drawer and submit daily cash to Finance dept.
    • Prepares food items based on customer/employee requests
    • Update menu and boards based on availability and cafeteria changes
    • Continually maintain kitchen and break room cleanliness
    • Put in daily to weekly orders for food items to stock the cafeteria

     

    Job Requirements:

    Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)

    High school diploma or GED preferred (must be at least 18 years old)

    Basic reading and math skills

    Basic computer skills

    Ability to multi-task and problem-solving skills

    Ability to stand, walk, kneel and bend for the entire shift

    Lift and carry weight limits up to 35 pounds

    Push and pull weight limits up to 150 pounds

    Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
