  • Freezer Stacker



    Ensures that freezer requirements are maintained and only the highest quality product is stacked on pallets for delivery to customers/consumers.



    Include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Ensures all pallets are stacked according the specifications..
    2. Ensures that all products stacked meet the highest quality standards.
    3. Ensures that pallets are stacked appropriately, all packages are in good condition, and accurately labeled for shipment.
    4. Maintains freezer / cooler in neat and orderly condition at all times.
    5. Must be able to make basic decisions without direct supervision. The supervisor is available by phone, however, the associate must work independently. Must complete daily assignments.
    6. Responsible for reporting food safety or quality problems to management and assist in implementing corrective action measures.
    7. Ensures that finished product is stored properly after stacking. 


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, have knowledge of the Warehouse Management System.     High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 



    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving a several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 55 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to wet and / or humid conditions.  The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.  The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.


    The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
