Job Description & Requirements

Welder works as part of the maintenance team as assists with sanitary welding on all system in the dairy including fillers, piping, milk silos, conveyors, and processors. Welder will fabricate parts to replace damaged areas on equipment and piping. Experience with 3A sanitary standards a plus.


  • Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications
  • Repair machinery, pipes, and silos by welding pieces and filling gaps
  • Weld air and water leaks on equipment
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws
  • Monitor work environment for hazards and maintain healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation
  • Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3A Sanitary Welding experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of welding background
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA etc.)
  • Professional certification (e.g. and AWS welding certificate) is a plus
  • Follow safety protocol, including wearing safety shoes, heat resistant gloves and protective masks
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
