Assist with Set-up and assembly of line equipment and perform a variety of routine tasks, operate various types of production equipment and hand tools to produce and package ice cream cakes.

 

The primary function of this position is to perform the basic operational duties during manufacturing of ice cream products.  Ensure all GMP and quality standards are met and all required paperwork is completed to maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process.   

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Assists with the cleaning, assembling and setup of basic work center equipment.
  • Under direction operates assigned work center equipment.
  • Support the production of ice cream products according to formulation in adherence with quality standards and food safety guideline.
  • Under direction completes assigned paperwork during cleaning and production runs.
  • Under direction perform manual cleaning operations for rinses, ARP’s and full CIP’s. 

Job Requirements *

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability to safely operate power hand trucks.
